[Gizmo's Mom]

Sitting on the porch this morning minding his own business as he does every morning, down the middle of the street come 2 huge Boxers.. Gizmo thinks the stretch of street right in front of our house is his so he proceeded to run to the edge of the yard and let it be known. Before I could get out of the swing they were on his butt and he barely made it to the porch. Poor baby couldn't even make it to the steps, was hanging on the side by his front feet trying to get to me. Anywho, he ended up breaking off one of his toe nails even with the skin..ouch! He is already on antibiotics for his tummy and vet said to bring him in in the morning and he would fix him up. Won't stop licking his little foot. I learned the hard way he's not safe in his own yard..and Giz learned he's not as "scawy" as he thinks.
