Hi! We have an in ground pool and the first summer we had it Sophia was running on the wet deck and slid right in!
Luckily I was in the pool to help her. Obviously she can swim, but she didn't know how to get back out. So, I practiced with her...putting her in and guiding her to the steps. She is an indoor doggie, but it still worries me! She does not seem to like getting in the pool, maybe Peyton will?
So my advice would be to make sure you train her how to get out if you can. Don't know if that is feasible with an above ground?
