| Beaufords Kennel in Missouri is NOT a puppy mill Beaufords Kennel in Missouri is NOT a puppy mill
Posted Today at 11:14 AM by DawnF Hi All...
I am seeing posts claiming that Beauford Kennel in Missouri is a puppy mill. I have to dispute this from experience. A few years back, I did some intensive research on the web in search of a healthy yorkie. Someone advised me to look into Beaufords kennel as they had purchased a yorkie from there and was very pleased. I spoke on the phone with Ron (owner) many times. He was kind enough to give me reference names of others who have bought a youkie from them. I talked with a few of these people who had only good things to say about this breeder. After careful consideration, I made the decision to purchase my baby from here. As anxious as I was to have her flown to me, Ron and Peg would not allow this happen until the puppy was a certain weight as they were concerned about her health and safety. When she was finally ready for her airplane ride to me...my daughter and myself waited anxiously at the airport for her, as if expecting an adoptive child. I took her to my vet the following day for her check up. She was healthy, full of energy and as the vet told me, came from a good home. My vet was so impressed with my new baby that she took this breeders name down and also referred them to anyone looking for a healthy, happy yorkie. I have recommended Beaufords to everyone who is looking for a happy, healthy yorkie, in fact, a friend purchased hers from here as well. Peg and Ron are the most genuine, and honest breeders. During the time I waited for 'Roxy" to get to the weight she could be transported to me via airplane, Ron happily took time to talk to me on the phone to let me know her progress and took pics for me. I've seen puppies that came from puppy mills....Beaufords puppies do not. They are well cared for, played with, and loved from day one. I notice another claim in a post that this same person notices they now sell maltese. I also have a maltese. I purchased her from a breeder here in FL who raises yorkies and maltese. These two breeds are often raised together and in some cases bred together to create 'morkies'. This does NOT indicate that they are a puppy mill. I HIGHLY recommend Beaufords to anyone looking for a healthy, happy, and well cared for puppy. I would purchase another from Beaufords in a heart beat.
