My husband and I got Abby at 6 weeks old. We had very little trouble potty training her and she's so smart we are spelling things so she won't know what we are saying. She's 3 years old now and we don't need to say anything she watches and figures out what we are up to. We love her so much and spoil her rotten. She's very easy to spoil at a big 5 pounds worth, and eyes that would melt anyone's heart.
About 4 weeks ago I decided she needed a buddy and we took in a 5 year old breeder dog also a beautiful little 6 pound yorkie. Penny will usually go poop and pee outside on our walks but she also goes on the floor. I love her so much and hate to scold her very much but I get irritated with my baby for doing this. How can I get her to understand she needs to let us know when it's time? We take several walks a day, weather permitting but......

I thank god I have a rug shampooer. It has really come in handy. I also use the vinegar and water on the spots after shampooing.
Has the bell worked for anyone? I'm seriously considering that or a doggie litter box. Any thoughts? Both girls hate the rain and Penny will not go out into it. Abby will run out quickly and do her business. We definitely have 2 different personalities here.
Any help would certainly be appreciated.
Another consideration for the box is our harsh winters we have here. But Abby won't use a pad so not sure about the box either. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard spot

love our girls so much!
