Here is the math teachers answer. Lol.

Let me tell you I did send a text to two other math teacher and we all have the same answer. We came up with 288.

48 / 2(9 + 3)
Grouping symbols first
48/ 2 (12)
Then 48/2 which is 24 then times 12.
Answer is 288!
