Hello. When I first got Buster he had a bad case of kennel cough. I was treating him for over 2 months as well. He seemed to be slowly improving. I used to take him in the bathroom and let it steam up to help him when he was having problems. He seemed better and the vet said he had to get one of his shots so we went forward with the shot. The next day he got worse and he had to stay 3 days/nights in intensive care and get IV antibiotics he then finally kicked the kennel cough. I know you feel so helpless when they are having their coughing jags! So I completely understand your being concerned with how long it is taking. Is there perhaps a different medicine the Vet could try? I wish I could be better help. Sending you support and best wishes. I hope your puppy kicks the kennel cough soon.
