I have a 5 1/2 month female yorkie that came down with Kennel Cough two months ago!! It has never been severe but just seems to hang on. Lately, she coughs in the morning and a little at night but is fine the rest of the day. She eats, plays and is acting completely normal beside that annoying little cough. I don't like giving her the cough medicine since it seems to upset her tummy so I looked up some home remedies. I read that giving them a little honey helps............I did that last night............and it really did help. Has anyone else heard of the honey trick? Any suggestions for anyone on what else I can do. She is still on the Amoxi drops and the vet doesn't seem worried. How long is this going to drag out? I would appreciate anyone sharing experiences with me.........if nothing else..........to calm me down!!!!
