I have an almost 2 year old son who had and still has some special needs. We almost lost him after birth and I am OVERLY alert to his breathing and noises during the night. He slept on a pulse oxygen monitor until about 2 mos ago, but that's neither here or there.

My point is, last night Bella vomited. Only once, right before bed, but I was on HIGH alert after this! I gave her some water and she layed down right next to me and slept all night. Strange for her I thought because she usually lays near the end of the bed. So I CONSTANTLY checked her to make sure she was breathing last night! Each time I awoke to do this my heart started racing! I was scared because I had fallen asleep. LOL I know I can't stay up all night over her vomiting once, but I was just curious if anyone else feels this way at the possibility of your furbaby being ill?? Or am I just a nutcase because all she did was vomit once?? Btw, she seems perfect this morning! So strange though....
Don't feel alone on that at all.....................I worry ALL the time!!!! I can't tell you how many times I wake up during the night to check on Rylee. My husband laughs at me because he I sit up in bed and start looking around for her to make sure she is okay!!!! We have been battling Kennel Cough for two months now and even though the vet isn't worried and Rylee is acting perfectly fine.............eating normal..........playing, etc.......just the slight cough in the morning..............I'm on constant alert. I have to admit...............I love her so much that it scares me!!!! When my boys are home visiting and I call the house.........they answer the phone by saying "she's fine mom". I also do the same as you..........if she vomits I watch over her and worry. You are not strange at all............you just love your baby!!!!!!!!
