Oh definitely! With both skin and furkids. Even though I only have one daughter in college I'm still a worry-wart. Whether I hear sirens around my neighborhood or hear about an accident nearby I'll call her to see if she's okay and if she doesn't answer I'm freaking out. She thinks I'm crazy LOL I always tell her when she's a mom she'll understand...

Even when I feel Louie's sleeping too much I'll ask my husband or daughter if they think he's acting sick or if I should take him to the vets. I'll literally watch him all day if he throws up to pick up on other signs but that was because of the issue with kidney failure with my poor lil Brody.

I also have a 36 yr old parrot who is usually VERY vocal. If he's not talking or sleeping momma's watching him.

I don't think it ever ends with kids or animals. It's a good thing. I think it means you're conscientious. I love my animals with everything and I also love and want the best for my daughter so of course I'm worrying. I'd like to think of it as being "extra-aware" not worrying hehe
