MY Potty break area (back yard) has two fixtures on the same switch.
I use those Fluorescent Lamps in both, they're very long lived, and
have never gone out at the same time. They are on full time between
8pm and 8am.

They make a "Y" type screw in adapter for single lamp sockets,
where you could have two lights working at the same time.
The Fluorescent Lamps can be operated for hours/overnight, for only
a few cents cost.
