I have used Royal Canin in the past. There are MANY different formulas and they all DO NOT HAVE CORN in them. The Yorkshire Terrier formula does have corn gluten meal in it. I fed the Mini Indoor 21 -- it has no corn at all. It is good if your dog spends almost all of its time inside. Mine do -- they only go out to do their business and when I take them out for exercise. Mine did well on it but then a local hardware store started stocking all kinds of premium brands. So, I switched to Solid Gold Just a Wee Bits. They do great on it too. I have used several brands over the years and to tell the truth, they do well on all of them. I stay away from any of the brands they sell in the grocery store as well as the Science Diet & Eukanuba you see in the vet's offices. Here is a link to a dog food review site. Any of the 4 star and above foods should be fine. I do avoid high protein content though (nothing over 35%). Dog Food Reviews - Dry Dog Foods - Powered by ReviewPost

We are all so picky about what we feed our dogs, but the truth is they will probably do well on most any of the better brands of food. Some have sensitivity to corn, wheat, and other ingredients. So, you have to make allowances for that. I figure they eat so little, I want to give them the best that is available. I ordered food for them online for years but now that there is pretty good food locally, I am using that. So far, I am very pleased with Solid Gold Just a Wee Bit -- it is a 4 star food on the review list.
