my favourite april fool's joke was this year's.
And I bet every teacher does this :P
I teach ESL at a public elementary school in Korea.
On that day I had grade 5. It is their first year having the foreigner teacher. With the help of my coteacher, we told them that they have a surprise test worth 30% of their final mark. But the best part. I didn't stop there. I told the kids that they had 5 seconds to go get their English notebook and turn to the last page.

watching my students freaking out over what and how to spell April & Fool's cracked me up! *they don't learn months of the year until grade 6 unless they've learned it privately*
