I finally got the courage to have my 3 lb. Yorkie spayed years back and she did great but I understand your worry about the anesthesia. If it were me, I would be even more worried about such a small female trying to carry and even whelp such potentially large puppies. What if she just had one very, very large one? I would get her to a reputable second vet for another opinion as to whether or not she isn't at great risk with this pregnancy.
