Our normal vet is at Pasco Animal Hospital. I know he charges $65 for a spay (including blood work). I'm not sure what kind of anesthesia he uses though (I forgot but it's not the old one). He sees TONS of very small dogs. He's done surgery 2x on Lily (my Yorkie mix).

We are in Hudson. We were using Bayonet Point Animal Hospital but had an incident when our Gizzy was diagnosed with Kidney Failure and switched to his partner who left, Dr. Sattler. She did all of his surgeries and we like her very much. I know the care she gives is outstanding but I'm afraid the cost right now is so expensive for us. Tarpon Animal Hospital, who I've heard is excellent as well is only $200 bu not sure if that would include the microchip.
Thank you for the information! I will definitely check it out. I want Teddi to have the best care but $500 is a bit steep for us at the moment.
