Buster had to have anesthesia for his hernia surgery and neutering when he was only 2 months old and 2 lbs. He then also had to be put under for his baby canine teeth to be removed at 8 months and LP surgery at 15 months. So while anesthesia is serious business so is whelping. I am sorry you and Bee are having to go through this. I would consult with a vet who is more experienced with smaller breeds.
