I have had two male Yorkies - my first long ago and my Tibbe now, with Jilly, a female, in the middle. I cannot tell you in good conscience that one was any cuddlier or more bonded with me than the other. Each relationship has been distinct and quite different but each of them so loving in their own way. Scotty, my first was super loving and so cute. My Jilly might have been the sweetest dog in the world. I guess my current dog, Tibbe, a male, is my smartest, cuddliest Yorkie and requires a lot more lap time than the other two, but as he was essentially a rescue, that may be part of it. I think he just needs more reassurance due to his former crate life. And being a neutered male, he has never marked in the house and is completely house trained. I don't see how you can go wrong whichever sex you chose.
