The OP stated that the vet told her her female has all the 'signs' of pregnancy but it was to early for x-rays. Over the years I have had many females show signs of pregnancy but they were not pregnant. It is not uncommon for a female after a heat cycle to show signs of pregnancy, even if they weren't bred. Many females will go off their food and mope around for two months after a heat cycle then they will perk up and get back to normal. |
I wasn't sure about the weight gain. You asked in another posting about feeling any movement of the puppies. Not too long ago, we had a poster who had rescued a dog that exhibited all the symptoms, including what FELT like movements, but it turned out to be a false pregnancy (even went so far as to have a false labor!)
The only thing that will answer the is she or isn't she question is either an xray now or a possible delivery in a few days.
