I don't think it will hurt him. It's just higher in protein and fat than dog food. Now the eating dog food exclusively or on a regular basis
can hurt your cat, however. Dog food does not contain taurine found in cat food. A diet deficient in taurine contributes toward retinal degeneration in cats. Taurine deficiency can also cause cats to develop heart disease.
