Default New Pup but Is this Common or Is He Nuts?

HI,
Congrats on the puppy. I am glad your vet put him on Albon. I start any puppy that I sell on Albon for 3 days before they leave and then the new parents continue the puppy on it for 4 more days so that doesn't happen. All Dog/puppies have coccidosis in there bowel and any stress can activate it. So the transition to the new home can activate it. The other problem I feel about his crying when he see other people is he/she is just a really friendly puppy and he/she will outgrow it. The separation anxiety can be a problem unless you handle it correctly. Make sure anytime you leave the puppy you tell him in a few word be right back or going to work and give him something with your scent one it to the puppy. At first if you can leave for a short time and come back of course say mommy back or what ever you say to greet him/her. Then try it and leave a little longer ect. The little puppy has just been taken from the only home it knew. It sounds like the puppy hasn't been with you a long time so just be patient and work with him/her. Some puppies have a harder time than others. When I sell my puppies I always in the puppy pak that goes with them put in a blanket that has there mothers scent on it. That helps with the separation when they lay down they smell there mother. Hope this helps and good luck with you special little baby. Yorkies give back more love than we could ever try to give.
