Confused New Pup but Is this Common or Is he NUTS!?!

Hello Everyone,

Glad I stuck around and thank you for the pouring over of support and advice with my handsome gent Niko! He is a bright ray of sunshine in our lives.
Quick Update:
(Didn't mention this earlier because of all the controversy surrounding his breeder, not going to go there but those who have followed will now have a better understanding of what I mean.)
Niko is doing well, now. At his first vet appointment (morning after I got him), I mentioned to the vet that he had blood after he pooed. (Loose Stool & it was the first time he did poo.) Scared me half to death. I thought maybe he was stressed from the relocation etc. Well, the vet said he did not have any worms, parasites, etc. But instead, he had bacteria present that most likely came from the condition at the breeder's place. He prescribed Albon (I believe that's the name) and some i/d formula wet dog food to help with his appetite and most importantly his tummy/intestinal upset. I was to mix it with the food she sent. He also gave him a shot of cortisone and ibuprofen (for pain and inflammation). A couple hours later he was wagging his numb and just as frisky as ever. THANK GOD! I still have to give him his Albon, which he LOVES, every 12 hrs. His stool has began hardening but isn't quite there yet but it's only been 3 days and he does have some "new food" with his usual food. (Still, haven't switched him to the Wellness I want to feed, just waiting for poo to harden and medicine to finish.) Anywho, he has an appointment on Friday and will receive his next set of vaccines.

Current Question:
I went to a pet store today to buy him a smaller collar and bells. (Other collar too big.) Well, when I got in there he started to cry and whine a bit. So I thought maybe he was scared or I was holding him wrong. Well, then he just yelped. The same yelp that happens if a dog is in pain or really frightened. So I freaked and put him on the ground...he then went right up to a nearby lady and wagged his tail. Later I brought him out to a dog free field to burn some energy and as the people would walk by he would cry and whine, ALOT! Not to mention he runs up to them and follows them. (He was only off leash for playtime and the place isn't a place for dogs b/c he hasn't had all his vaccs and I wanted to make sure he wasn't subjected to the risk.) Anyway, has anyone had this happen before? I know it's not a huge deal but I just want to know why the crying and what to do? I know they go through a "really friendly" stage...but is this his version of it.

My other question is what vaccine schedule did/do you use?
And did your pup go through separation anxiety? If so, for how long?

Sorry for all the questions and the not-so short update, but thank you in advance for all your answers.

Blessings Your Way,
Niko's Proud Mommy
