He had a very serious hip operation but things go worse do to the area in his back where they gave him an epidural. It paralyzed him where he couldn't use his back legs. They had to do another operation. He's not doing so well, but we are praying.

My son's yorkie, Bailey, suddenly had a terrible seizure yesterday. My son and daughter in law found him on the floor and he was a mess. They called and I met them at the vet. By the time I got there, Bailey was not able to do anything but lift his head a bit when he heard my voice. He was transferred to the specialists that I use in Houston. By yesterday afternoon he was able to stand but could not walk.
He has some clear neurological deficits and the thought at this point is a stroke. He will remain hospitalized in their ICU. He was seen by the neurologist, but because he also had a very low heart rate and hypertension, he was kept in medical for an evaluation. On Monday he will be transferred to Neuro.
When the hospital called last night, he was stable. We will be visiting him today.
