I FINALLY went to the Dr. (orth) to get a handle on my increasing knee pain. I had put it off for almost 2 years and just couldn't take it anymore! I had been prescribed Meloxacam and it didn't help anymore. I thought it was just sore/bad tendons on the inside of my right knee as my knees always were hyper flexed (could almost bend them backwards

). Well, after the x-rays, all I have is old-fashioned arthritis. I am VERY needle phobic, but I can say unequivocally that the shot of cortisone hurt less than my knee! Today I am pain free, for the first time in over two years! Please do yourself a favor and get it checked out by an orthopedic! You won't be sorry!
