Yes, she did fast. You should make sure that they do a comprehensive thyroid test. Check for everything: T4, total T3, free T4, free T3, T3AA and T4AA, cTSH and/or TgAA. I would call ahead and make sure the vet you are going to will test for all of these things. Most only check for T4 and T3 which is not always comprehensive enough to find a problem.
