I'm going to give her little pieces of bread to see which one she likes. I hadn't really explored peanut butter with her since she was eating so well and I was using her kibble as treats. I'll try that and/or smooth velveta cheese. It shouldn't hurt her as long as I can get to take her meds.

Great idea!
I just want to suggest giving her something before you even try the medication, just incase her mouth may be dry. I noticed when medicating Tink she took all her meds much better if I give her a tiny taste of cheese, PB, or chicken baby food right before giving her the meds... and of course another taste without any meds afterwards, as a treat for being good.
Also keep in mind, after a while they get better at taking meds, with Tink now, nothing is any big deal, and it also helps for me to stay absolutely calm during the entire process. If I'm in a rush, I take a minute to calm myself down even before approaching her...
