Sounds like yeast or a thyroid problem. My Lulu has suffered for years with yeast problems. There is a great product called Nzymes that has helped with the yeast. Many who use it get results in a few months. Lulu took a few years. The mistake I made was to stop giving it to her once I saw improvement. Now the yeast and the corn chip smell is back with a vengence, along with constant biting and scratching. I suggest looking at the Nzymes website, there is a ton of information there. Also put in a phone call to them. They are very very helpful and knowledgeable.
