I know this is late, but it broke my heart to read of your loss. I am reminded of something I heard from my brother when we lost our Yorkie Kelly a looong time ago. There have been reports of dogs by paranormal experts at funerals, when their owner passes they are gleefully waiting to show them the way home. I have faith that all dogs go to heaven for their special love and companionship, so it makes so much sense that when it is our time to leave this earth they will be with us again...once again being that love and companion to us.
