Just to clarify things...I do not know the size of dog bred by Collier Ranch0I never got that far in talking to them as a potential breeder for our edition (shows how quickly it all went down hill) I made comments about another breeder (there's a thread on it here) whom is breeding 2 and 3 pound dog to produce dogs at maturity 1 1/2 pounds and is setting a further goal to be only 1 pound at maturity...that is actually (Posh Fairy Tail here's the link-http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/general-yorkshire-terrier-discussion/224406-micro-mini-teacups-under-1-lb.html ) no where do I state that was CR's practice, however CR (and Karla Clippinger) did make attacks against my opinion on that being irresponsible breeding...reading comprehension in ability should also be a requirement one looks for in a breeder-if they cannot read and interpret things correctly they are probably not researching and assimilating new information critical to dog care etc.
I wish anyone looking for an addition or their first pup the best and hope this thread aid them in finding a responsible, breeder whom is responsible in their breeding practices, and their business practices. |
