My current Yorkie and my former Yorkie both had successful dentals each time but I, like you, was always very nervous, despite pre-op tests and dogs in good health. I will keep Angus in my prayers and just know he will be fine. My former Yorkie was a runt of her litter and only weighed 3 lbs. as a grown dog but she always came through her anesthesia just fine. Please try not to worry so much though I know it is hard not to.
