The only thing different is that I am having to doggie sit for an elderly friend of mine that has a 15 year old yorkie and he pees and poops in the house. I am going NUTS over all this mess.
Any ideas? If not, that is o.k. I got vent!!! |
Is the elderly Yorkie peeing and pooping in your house while you sit him? If it were me, I would watch him like a hawk, take him out more often, and confine him to one room with pee pads when you cannot watch him. I would clean any spot he has pooped or peed on, and start over and watch him like a hawk and not allow him to make a mistake. When he is not there anymore, clean clean clean again. Then start over with your little guy and not allow him to make a mistake, take him out more often, do not let him out of your site. If he does try to do it, your best bet is to catch him
in the act, then correct him by taking him out where he is supposed to go, and praise praise praise him for doing it right, just like when he was a puppy!
