I would call your Vet's office and explain what is happening to them and see what they say. As far as the meetup, I have no idea and know I am the yorkie newbie around here but I wouldn't take a female in heat to any place where a large group of dogs would be meetup, dog park or anything like that. I would be afraid it would cause a commotion among the males at the event that are not fixed but that is just a opinion.
