tatooing is not painful...had many, many done. They do not go as deep as a human tat...mine would lay on ther backs, I held the front legs and talked to them..over is seconds...a good tatooer does not take for then a minute. Chipping is a good thing, but the bore size of the needle is big and it is a bit more painful then a tat...
