Luckily the recession didn't hit much here, so I've been able to keep my job. My company has actually contracted a few people from the USA and Mexico to work up here in Canada. It's the first time we've done something like that! I am working with a group now from Arizona, and one of the guys actually moved his whole family here. The others go back home every few months for a week or two to see their families. I don't think I could be away from my family that long, but it's what they have to do for work I guess
