I use people products as well. Its Paul Mitchell's straight works shampoo & conditioner that I really didn't like to use. My husband was like this dog has better shampoo than I do but really I just used it b/c I didn't like it. What I read is to make sure you rinse all of the shampoo & conditioner out. I rinse Reagan about three times as long as I think I should and she's never had dry skin, well once but that was when I tried something new. I have heard it both ways though some say that people products are fine and others say to only use dog products. Whatever you use just make sure it rinse the pup well, its worked for me so far.
