He isn't 11. He is 10, so that is the one I'd use (if he is the perfect weight). If you plan on having him gain some, then I'd do the next one up.

If you are talking about Interceptor, the lower dose should be fine anyway. The dose to prevent just heartworm (and not intestinal parasites) is apparently much lower than what is actually given). Remember though if he goes to 11 and gets heartworm while on the preventative, the company would probably not want to cover the cost of treatment.
