Cry I just wish that I knew WHAT was wrong.

Hmm..
I have some how convinced Straszny that his meds. are a fun/good thing... so I don't really have problems giving them to him. Maybe he likes it that they are sweet. The cough syrup, he isn't crazy about, but I hold him when I give it to him. Maybe if you try to make it into a fun thing...tricks and such.

An update on my vet saga:

Straszny had a few bad nights again...it just breaks my heart. I want him healthy. When he has coughing fits, he climbs onto me, even trying to get on my face, and complains a little when I move him close to me, but by my side. poor guy...but it is just crazy, he is fine during the day, and some nights too. He seems perfectly normal besides those few moments.

I am now out of steroids, and still giving Straszny the cough syrup and antibiotics. I spoke with the vet for almost 20 min on the phone today(he is SO thorough, and nice too) and I am going to finish his meds, but then we are moving on to the next step.

CBC test, on blood cells to check for infection, and then possibly x-rays to check the trachea. He previously felt for it, and felt nothing abnormal, but he says that Straszny should be getting better if it is a cold. I just hope if we do x-rays that they are successful(if there is a trachea problem). he mentioned that it is hard to catch the picture at the right time. Not 100%.

A question that I have is how can he have this CBC test while on antibiotics...won't that interfere? Do you guys know? I will have to call. And what about his shot...will the antibiotics be a problem with that? I wish I had thought of all of this earlier. I think my brain became boggeled after 15 min...

Also, he is due for his 3rd shot, so I can't decide if I should wait if he IS sick...but thats the thing...I don't know if he is. The doctor said if he is acting normal(eat, drink, play, etc.) then it should be fine.

I hope that all made sense.
