What bothers me most about this incident, is the sentence I underlined above. Why on earth would you force anything on your dog? Why would you MAKE her lick anything? Dogs are more discerning than you think. They usually will not willingly eat things that have spoiled or that are bad or them (like onions, garlic, and curry)! I just do not understand why you would want to force your dog to eat something so obviously spicy and hot as this sauce, even if you did not originally know some of it is toxic).
This is your first post on Yorkietalk so it is impossible to get a better idea of how you treat your dog. This is not a good first impression though.

I am glad all you wound up causing was a bit of gagging. Hopefully you will not experiment like this with your dog in the future.
