Yes, this is what was in Joey's contract, and I was not able to sell or rehome the dog without his breeders permission. She can come and take him back at any time. At first this bothered me, but then I realized I love that idea, she really cares about the dogs she produces.

We must remember that a breeder usually can't get as much for a 6 month old puppy as she can a 12 week old puppy.
