I am not saying a male won't make just as great as a pet. But, my mom said if we can't get a female, then we are not getting one at all. I tried and tried to talk to her. But, she is very stubborn and when her mind is made up. I can't change it. Maybe when I finally can afford to live on my own, then I will get a male.
