My 17 year old daughter was breech at 36 weeks. When I went to the hospital at 37 weeks to have her (high blood pressure) she had turned on her own. I don't even know when she turned - you think I would have felt it since she weighed 8 lbs 3 oz but I didn't feel it.
I have a past history of being an OB nurse for 9+ years and we did versions (turning the baby) many times where I worked. Just from my own experience I can tell you it's a very uncomfortable procedure and some physicians are better at doing the version than others. Be sure you talk with your physician about risks involved because there are risks. Also, versions are not usually very sucessful. It's difficult to turn a baby, has risks with doing it, and very often if your doctor is successful in turning the baby it flips around again before delivery.

Personally I refused to try the version and just thought I would do the c-section. I was very lucky she turned on her own. I'm not familiar with anything you can do to help the process along on your own but good luck. If you have to have a c-section they really are pretty easy to do now and you recover very quickly.
