That said, this doesn't/shouldn't just apply to new members of the forum. There are veteran members who have engaged in attacks as well.
All members should do their best to offer a modicum of respect to their fellow members, whether they are new or veteran members.
Respect goes both ways. Just like it can be earned, it can also be lost...and earned again. We should all make room for others' mistakes...and that doesn't always happen here. People learn, change, and evolve - and we should hold an open space for them to do so, even if it's only a
teensy space based upon past behavior.
