This may be an odd question, but I have a litter of 7 morkies that are 10 and 1/2 weeks old and the mom still wants to nurse them once or twice a day. Is this normal? Her first litter she weaned at 6 weeks. This time is different. I want to get them their first shots tomorrow, but someone told me I should not do that if they are still nursing. I want them to have their shots, and yet I don't have the heart to stop the nursing if mom wants to do it. Help, I don't know what to do.
