If it makes you feel any better to not be alone.... I have an appt for an Implant surgical procedure on weds the 24th.
I'm soooo nervous about it, they are actually giving me Valium to take the morning of the surgery. They do not put you under at all and they need to do a 'sinus bump' because the bone is 2mm too short in depth for the whole transplant screw. They will bump my sinus wall with the screw and we'll all pray that it does not tear and let bone graft material into my sinuses. If that does happen I'll have to go to an ENT (after I get a sinus infection because thats the only way I'll know they tore the sinus wall) to get my sinuses cleaned and drained. Oh and I'll have 2 black eyes and probably facial swelling!
