I took Maddie in at 8:00 this morn and now I am on pins and needles. They will call me as soon as she is done with the surgery and awake. I can't wait to get her, but it's going to break my heart to see her in pain. She was so excited to go bye bye this morning...poor little sweetie. They will send pain meds home with her and told me to put neosporin on the incision often...that will help with itching and it will heal better. She is supposed to keep quiet for 10 days. My gosh...I will probably have to leave her in her crate most of the time because she can be quite the little spitfire! I guess she won't be sleeping with me because I'm afraid of her jumping off the bed. I will let you all know when I've received the call...saying that she is okay and doing great!!! |
