Miss the bay a LOT! I would totally suggest that you check out Southbay Yorkie meetups because it's just SO MUCH fun seeing so many yorkies. Even the meetups are better back home
When you get your baby, make sure you start socializing it when it's around 4-5 months old and it will take some time for them to adjust. I highly suggest the dog park on Camden Avenue in South San Jose (it may be somewhat of a drive from you...).

I learned, but luckily none of mine were sick or anything (just luxating patella for Carmel). If you're considering adopting, there's a very nice humane society shelter in milpitas!
