It seems like to me if he had killed the cat he would have had a scratch or 2 on him. Did you happen to notice if the cat had been declawed? I'm so sorry that had to happen to you, I know I would be devastated. I just hate to see any animal killed and yet I know our babies are little ratters. ugh!!! I have seen Kayla pick up a stuff toy and shake it until it was unbelievable how she did that. I thought when her and Dudley were playing tug a war she was going to break his little neck. They are really strong little buggers. We have seen just lately a feral cat roaming around and my dh said he had never seen a cat that big. He came home from work the other nite and it was laying on our front porch. Hope he doesn't decide to go in the backyard. I don't want him to hurt or blind one of my babies. Scares me to death. Dh said this cat was alot bigger than Kayla. As bad as it had to be, I don't think you owe your neighbor any money. I think here in Dallas there is also a law about keeping your cats up too. |
