| Dogs Playing Together
I have a question about dogs of different ages playing together. We've had an older female Yorkie for many years. She is now 10-1/2 YEARS old and always been the only dog in our home.
Three weeks ago we got a new female Yorkie. She is now 11-1/2 WEEKS old. She is terrorizing the older one... running after her, biting her legs, climbing up on her and pawing at her face. I'm afraid that she'll scratch the eyes of the older one. The older one growls and snaps at her. Sometimes it's just a light playful mood and other times the puppy really gets wild. Other than this, they play together with toys always one trying to get a toy from the other.
It took the older one 12 days to come around to the puppy then she started to play with her.
I really don't like the little one biting. I know they have soft bites but sometimes she really sounds ferocious!
Any tips on what to do? We've just been telling them "No" and they stop.
