What if dad's offspring are too big for her to carry or whelp safely for her small size? If I didn't know dad's size, I would spay to prevent my little girl maybe having her uterus perforated by too much puppy weight, dying alone, bleeding and in pain, since no one is ever able to be with them all day every day through an entire pregnancy, in most cases. I don't think anyone would want to just kill puppies willy-nilly as we are all huge dog-lovers here, but I would be more afraid of losing my little girl in a horrible way if I did not spay once she was diagnosed as pregnant and I had no idea of dad's size. |
