Excessive thirst called polydipsia can be indicative of a health problem....a few issues that include polydipsia...are canine diabetes, cushings, kidney problems, liver disease..high blood calcium content, possible abnormalities in the pituitary gland. There are some others....but these are the ones I can recall right now.

Any time you notice unusual behavior with your yorkie, it's better to get it checked out...

I would definitely get your little guy to the Vet....just to figure out what is going on.


Hopefully it's nothing serious!
