 My thoughts
While I can see where the OP is coming from, I too am a "newbie" and I have seen some posts here that have been pretty harsh HOWEVER I have also seen some posts here that scare me to death and I sit most of my nights reading through the threads and my Charlie lays next to me and sometimes I grab on to him and hold him so tight because I cant imagine him being in the situations I am reading about.
So I think that the members that post so verbally may be reacting because it can feel so close to home, when you hear these things you immediately think of your own baby and yes its true sometimes the things being said are things that the poster needs to hear. I also have to believe that those with the strong advise have more experience in recognising a situation that warrants it.
We are all here to help and be helped our babies are the most important thing its important that we look out for them and others. |
