Its really easy for little ones to break their fragile bones, I can see how easily it could happen. Maybe she is embarrassed to admit that in the 2 seconds she had eyes off the pup, she jumped off the sofa resulting in the broken leg? or something similar. You know how easily these guys can get themselves into trouble. At least she has sought out vet care and is sending you updates
that does suck for a puppy though, I hope she has a speedy recovery so she can be back to getting into trouble
